VIGO Photonics at Impact’26: Building Our Position as a Global Technology Leader
25 May 2026
Impact’26 in Poznań, a key economic and technological hub for the CEE region, provided the perfect backdrop for VIGO Photonics to showcase its international growth. Our presence reinforced a powerful message: Polish tech champions are ready to scale globally and take the lead.
A key highlight of our presence at the event was the participation of Adam Piotrowski, CEO of VIGO Photonics, in the panel discussion titled The Code for Global Success. Technological expansion of Polish companies, held at the Polski Fundusz Rozwoju S.A. (PFR) stage. The discussion, moderated by Natalia Szewczak (Business Insider Polska), also featured Marek Buczak, Director of the Polish International Development Fund at PFR TFI S.A.

The American Milestone Under the Expert Spotlight During the panel, CEO Adam Piotrowski shared behind-the-scenes insights and strategic takeaways from our recent milestone - the acquisition of InfraRed Associates, a well-established company in the US photonics market. This strategic acquisition opens up new growth opportunities for VIGO in the United States and serves as tangible proof of our commitment to consistently executing our strategy of building a global champion.
Synergies in the Spirit of #TeamPoland At VIGO Photonics, we understand that global success requires strong and stable partnerships. Our US transaction is a textbook example of model collaboration between the private sector and financial institutions - it was funded through a loan provided by PFR TFI S.A. and PKO Bank Polski.
This joint initiative aligns perfectly with the concept of #TeamPoland and modern economic diplomacy, both widely discussed during the congress. The importance of such support for domestic tech companies was also emphasized on the main stage by Mikołaj Raczyński, Vice President for Investment at PFR, who pointed out that alongside market stabilization, a key role of public capital today is precisely mobilizing funds for the development of strategic economic sectors and supporting Polish champions.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Polski Fundusz Rozwoju for inviting us to the discussion and creating a space to debate the future of innovation. We return from Poznań with renewed energy to further strengthen VIGO Photonics' position on global markets!
