MIRAQLS 

From June 23-28, 2024, we were proud sponsors of the MIRAQLS conference, where Adam Piotrowski delivered a keynote address. This event provided a unique opportunity for students, researchers, and professionals interested in quantum sensing to engage with leading experts in the field, participate in stimulating discussions, and network with peers from around the world.

International School and Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors

We attended the "Jaszowiec" International School and Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors from June 15-21, 2024. During the conference, we presented a lecture focused on III-V detectors and sponsored the event. The "Jaszowiec" International School and Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors is an annual meeting that gathers the international semiconductor physics community in Poland. It has been organized since 1970, initially as the Nationwide Symposium on the Physics of II-VI Semiconducting Compounds.

EUROSATORY

From June 17-21, 2024, we attended EUROSATORY in Paris, the premier international defense and security exhibition. EUROSATORY is renowned for showcasing the most advanced solutions, services, and expertise to address a wide range of complex crises, from high-intensity conflicts to humanitarian and environmental disasters. This event provides a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to exchange ideas and collaborate on cutting-edge technologies and strategies.

SENSOR+TEST

From June 11-13, 2024, we attended SENSOR+TEST, the world's leading forum for sensor, measurement, and testing technology. When SENSOR+TEST, the leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring, and testing technology, opened its doors in Nuremberg on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, under the motto "Welcome to the Innovation Dialogue!", visitors experienced three days of pure technology with innovations to explore. Until June 13, 2024, exhibitors informed visitors and experts from all over the world about industry trends. The exhibition was even more attractive due to an exciting supporting programme.

The Sensor Decade

On June 5-6, 2024, we attended The Sensor Decade, an Oslo Science City Arena event. This event is a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, aimed at accelerating the growth of new ideas. Oslo Science City aims to enhance innovation opportunities by creating an arena where leading researchers and highly motivated students can interact with dynamic business incubators and disruptive companies.

Border Securty Expo

From May 21-23, 2024, we attended the Border Security Expo, the largest and longest-standing event of its kind. This event is designed specifically for the border community—policy leaders, operational commanders, procurement officers, on-the-ground agents, local law enforcement, and industry leaders—to exchange ideas, expand networks, and experience new and developing technologies.

Photonics21 Photonics Partnership Annual Meeting

Another Photonics21 Annual Meeting is behind us! We couldn't miss this event, where there were talks about the directions of market development, the future impact of photonics on the economy, as well as the possibilities of project financing. Our representatives: Ryszard Piramidowicz and Jacek Kulakowski, had the opportunity to establish new contacts and gain knowledge about the latest and most advanced photonics projects in the industry. It was also an excellent opportunity to present our HyperPIC project and subsequent conversations with potential partners with whom we will build the world's first Mid Infrared_Photonic Integrated Curcuits (MIRPIC).

International Conference on Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy

21st International Conference on Metal Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy (ICMOVPE_XXI), held on May 12-17, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference, the pre-eminent event in the field, presented the latest advances in science, technology, and applications of MOVPE and related growth techniques. By attending, participants had the opportunity to network with leading researchers and professionals, gain insights from the cutting-edge research presented, and contribute to advancing the field.

SOF Week

From May 6th to 10th, 2024, we were proud sponsors and participants of SOF Week. This convention for U.S. and International Special Operations Forces included a diverse slate of programs, featuring professional development sessions, interactive discussions about the future of SOF, and an up-close view of some of the best technology available to warfighters.

National Academic Forum on Laser Spectroscopy

From April 23rd to 25th, Vigo Photonics proudly sponsored the National Academic Forum on Laser Spectroscopy. During the event, experts and researchers discussed the latest advancements in laser spectroscopy technology and its applications in fields such as energy, environment, industrial production, healthcare, and space defense. They also exchanged views and experiences in these areas.
